This week was a lot of fun to put together, I think July 4th might be one of my favorite holidays. I loved using the red, white, and blue theme for my pages.
Left Side:
I am still deciding the best way to go about explaining each page so this week I am going to include screen shots of each photo and see how it goes...

It was fun to include another large photo here. I think I like the broken-up look. |
Just a simple photo with simple text for Monday. Yes, I actually got the groceries for once in my life (usually Jason does). |
Right Side:
The next day was a wedding rehearsal that Jason went to while I was at work. I hadn't taken any photos all day so I asked him to take some. He only took three so I thought the one of the couple was the best to use :) Its ok that we aren't the same in photo-taking passion. I worked a lot on my Week in Life album that day but there are only so many pictures you take of yourself sitting at the computer! The paper and stars on with this photo are some freebies from a long time ago from Pattie Knox and the tab with the date on it is a tabbed journaler from K. Pertiet. |

I had a lazy-day on Saturday, I always like to try to relax as much as possible on the day before I am on call. I set up our cable so that I can watch the Olympics in a few weeks to that is a picture of the box that everything came in. I tried to dress the photo up a bit with some washi tape (from Pugly Pixels-find it here) and patterned paper from the PP kit. |
Jason let me practice using my new lens on him on Saturday as well.
I love the picture I got of him - I might be biased but I think he's pretty handsome :)

The "Keep Calm" 3x4 card is from here.
I thought it would be fun to include
another 4th of July card to go with my overall theme.

Note: all my bold opaque letters on both pages are something I learned from C. Zielske, find the tutorial here. The font I used is Avenir.
Inserts/Extra Pages:
I took so many pictures this week that I was having a hard time getting them in one layout. I decided to stop trying so hard to get them all to fit and just make some extra pages. I am so glad I did, now I feel that all my favorite pictures can be used and not just a few. I did a google search for "12x12 photo templates" and found this one at the simple as that blog - it made putting these pages together SO easy!
The page on the left has a lot of iPhone photos from our girls shopping trip together. The right page is all more pictures of the wedding we went to on Friday.
