... since Jason and I got married! It seems like just yesterday we were counting down the days till we tied the knot. The days go by much faster now. Here are a few highlights of our first few months together:

June 5th, 2010 |
We had an amazing week in St. John for our honeymoon
(many thanks to Jason's parents!!) |
We lived in Lafayette from June till the end of July. I got a job at Logansport Memorial Hospital and began school at IUK. Jason worked at Purdue in Hillenbrand Hall. |
On July 23rd we celebrated with Ross & Kate at their wedding |
At the end of July Jason's parents let us graciously let us stay with them for two weeks while we were apartmentless :)
p.s. yes, this is my side of the room.. j's is much neater |
We finally found an apartment! We moved in on August 11th. |
Moving Day
We picked the hottest day of the year! It took 3 cars, 1 suburban, 2 trucks and a large trailer to move all our stuff. |
We celebrated my birthday a few weeks late because of all the mayhem. We enjoyed a nice day in Indy at the IMA, the Apple Store, and ate dinner at R Bistro. I ordered my first alcoholic drink as a 21 yr. old and didn't even get carded! |
In September Jason bought this car from my brother, Jacob. Jason uses it to drive to and from work. Oh, and in September Jason got a job as a CNA at Woodbridge Health Campus! |
In October we enjoyed my fall break by spending some extra time together. |
I went to the harvest party and... |
our family's thanksgiving without Jason because he had to work. |
Here Jason is decorating our first christmas tree! |

Christmas with my family |
New Years Day: Jason and I made a formal dinner for our parents. It was a lot of fun!
It has been a fun, busy time! We have learned a lot about each other and have grown so much closer. I am thankful for the wonderful man the Lord has given me and I look forward to the future we get to share together :)
Well, the end of my christmas break is drawing to an end. I tried to take it slowly but it still seemed to go by so fast! Though I am sad it is over I am looking forward to May - only 122 days till I graduate!! |
