Yes, that is right. I have decided to start a blog! It has always been something I wanted to do but never got around to it. Well, actually I was just scared. So, here goes, I am facing my fears!
Yesterday I made a no-sew fleece blanket. Notice the "no-sew" part, I am not a sewer. At all. I am pretty sure Jason could sew on a button better than me. Jason didn't seem too impressed but I was very proud of it ;). I made the blanket for IUK's "Project Linus," which collects homemade blankets for seriously ill and traumatized children.
Today after clinicals I went grocery shopping by myself for the first time since July. This means that for the last four months my husband and I have gone together or just my husband goes by himself (more of the later happens). My hubby has been so helpful while I am in school, I am very spoiled by him! When I got home I made Garlic Beef Enchiladas. They are in the oven now. Since Jason works second shift we usually eat supper together one night a week. Very quickly we got tired of having lunchmeat sandwiches for lunch everyday! Now we have started making a casserole every week just for lunches and it has been working out nicely.
I better clean up the mess from the enchiladas. See you next time!
